Our Top Three Brush Cleansers

We all know how important it is to wash your make-up brushes regularly. If you don’t you can risk breakouts, skin irritation, and even nasty infections.

Make-up brushes don’t just hoard old make-up they also harbour bacteria, oil, dead skin cells and general dirt – especially brushes that have been used for cream or liquid make-up.
We recommend using luke warm water to clean your brushes, a good quality brush cleanser and make sure you let them dry lying down (if water gets into the brush handles it can cause the hairs to fall out).

Our top tip is to let them dry naturally. If you’re not careful, and you use artificial heat, you risk melting synthetic bristles! (Trust us, we’ve done it, with a hair dryer..)

There are lots of different products on the market to help your brushes stay squeaky clean, but for us these have to be our favourites…
