What They Say:

Instant perfect coverage that feels extra comfortable, and lasts all day. It blends flawlessly, seamlessly, instantly and easily into the skin, and is sweat, heat, humidity and transfer proof for up to 25 hours.

What We Say:

Finding a good foundation is always a rather personal challenge. We want the right colour, coverage, moisture level, and price tag – to name but a few of our ‘essential’ needs.
Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Foundation really manages to tick quite a few of those boxes for us. It’s a lovely fresh formula and applies tenderly to your skin for a dewy soft complexion.
We used a beauty blender to apply it, not a brush. We found the blender really helped to work with the foundation to help create that flawless full coverage the product promised. And boy did it deliver!
There foundation blended well, and like most worked best over a primer. It was very comfy to wear and didn’t dry the skin. The staying power was also very impressive. We can’t confirm if it lasts 25 hours, as it was only wore it for around 13/14, but for that it lasted pretty well, even on a hot July day.
The biggest downside to this product, as with a lot of drugstore ranges, is the lack of colours in the range. If you are a deeper skin tone that you’re out on this one, and if you’re a true porcelain I’m afraid that’s game over too. If you’ve got a good eye for colour though, you could try mixing a few shades together, they are cheap enough for this to still be worth the expense.
In A Nutshell:

For a budget foundation this is seriously good stuff. It offers fantastic coverage, it’s moisturising and really does last for hours.

Although the colour range isn’t fantastic. Based on the product performance, it couldn’t not get the whole 5 stars.
