What We Say:

OCC Lip Tars have somewhat of cult following and they are a must have in any media make-up kit. These little tubes of epic pigment offer unbeatable colours and coverage.

Lip Tar is pretty much as described on the package; a tube of tar like liquid lipstick. To use you need to warm the product up, and squeeze the tube a little to mix the product, before using.

When you’ve sufficiently warmed the product, simply put a small dot directly onto your lip brush or your mixing palette. You can add it to lip balm, gloss or even Vaseline – the formula is truly versatile and a little goes a very long way.

Although mainly matte finishes, the product is moisturising and doesn’t dry your lips out. It also smells of peppermint oil – which was a huge hit for the team at TLBG.

The colour stays put well, and once dried doesn’t transfer much either. In terms of application, this product is perfect for creating dramatic lips and crisp lines.

In A Nutshell:

OCC Lip Tars are so much fun to use. Their colours are fantastic and the formula is great for playing about with.

The versatility of the Lip Tar is what we love, by simply adding it to some Vaseline you can create your perfect hue in no time at all. For subtle sheens or dramatic mattes, with OCC you can create it all.
