What They Say:

Hydrating body lotion with aroma proven to reduce feelings of stress. Aroma includes essences of lavender, lavandin and clary sage from organic farms and is formulated using the science of aromaology™ and the power of pure essential oils.

What We Say:

There’s nothing better than a hot shower or steamy bath before bedtime. It’s a great way to unwind and relax – especially after a hard gym session or a busy working day in the office.

Having a night-time regime is scientifically proven to help get you a better nights sleep, and combining soothing and gentle products really helps to create the calm before bed. There’s a reason they do it for babies!

We really were head over heels for this body lotion from Aveda. It’s part of their stress-fix range and it smells wonderfully of lavender.

It’s not one we’d recommend trying in the morning, as it evokes a sense of peace and calm that’s more suited to evenings (it’s no good falling asleep on the commute to work!). In our opinion, it’s perfect to apply after a long hot soak in the tub, to help you drift off whilst keeping your skin lovely and hydrated. Although if you have a really stressful day ahead – it might be worth a try!

The cream itself is soft and light, it’s thick enough to moisturise even those dry areas like ankles, elbows and knees, but it’s not greasy and it absorbs well into the skin. It’s also great for sensitive skin due to Aveda

The sent is gentle yet effective, it’s subtle and calming and really helps you to unwind with its spa like sanctuary aroma.

It’s the perfect balance of great skincare and relaxation.

In A Nutshell:

We love this product, it’s our favourite post bath skin treat. It leaves our skin beautifully soft and supple, and the scent helps us drift off into a restful slumber.

The only reason it didn’t get the full 5 stars was due to the price tag, although we do love this lotion £27.00 is a lot of money to spend. If you do have the cash though, it’s worth it all.
