What They Say:

This rich, nourishing eye cream visibly diminishes signs of aging around the eyes, while decreasing the appearance of puffiness and dark circles. Alguronic Acid combined with vitamin C, caffeine, as well as cucumber, aloe and green tea extracts help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps nourish and hydrate the eye area for a recharged and rejuvenated appearance.

What We Say:

Late nights and early mornings can take its toll on your delicate eye area, which is why it’s important to wear a good eye cream.

Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm is a lovely hydrating treat for your eyes. The formula is rich and cooling, and instantly made our eye area look revived.

The balm contains key ingredients like aloe and caffeine that are well-known for their soothing and anti-puffiness qualities.

We used the cream in the morning and at night, and were very pleased with the results. It is by no means a wonder balm, and it didn’t miraculously make our under eye bags vanish (we are yet to find a cream that does). But it did reduce puffiness and soften the appearance of our shadows. It also made us feel awake and ready to take on the day. In terms of fine lines, it did help to those too.

The main benefit from this gorgeous eye balm was the soothing and hydrating effect. It’s a very soft balm, which applies as gentle as silk and your eyes feel instantly cooled. The well thought out ingredients give you a great moisture boost and it sits well under make-up.

In A Nutshell:

This eye balm made us feel ready for the day ahead. It helped to make tired eyes feel refreshed. It did reduce the appearance of fine lines, but not drastically.

It just falls into the investment category, with a price tag close to £50, but we’d say it’s worth the expenditure as it did help those pesky eye bags, and most importantly it’s so lovely to apply.
